Blackley Pike Fold Lane WW2

Situated off Old Market St, Blackley, Manchester.
Above: The building seems to have been built on top of the site of an old mill. The remains of this structure and the trees hide it slightly. But it is hard to imagine the scene during the war.
At one time, a similar image is posted on lancashireatwar.co.uk...at one time you could access the site, however , the entrance is blocked up by breeze blocks and the slits are also blocked.
It may have been used to guard the ICI building.
prior to being blocked inside there are 4 main storage units..

Across the road was another unidentifiable structure situated close to Oakworth St
