Tack Lea Works

Tack Lea Works,located off the  Bury & Rochdale Old Road, Bury, Lancashire, the last activity was in 1982 by Melba Products producing traffic cones.The mill was built around 1860 and listed from 1870 as the Tack Lea Bleach Works,and in 1879as a cotton waste processors.

    Did this as 1 of my very first explorers back in 2008. The site was still very much intact, bar a bit of fire damage that I believe was the reason for closure. Shame my photos are long gone now.
